Spread the almonds onto a baking sheet in an even layer and roast for 13 minutes, remove and allow to cool.
Spread the pecans onto a baking sheet and roast for 8 minutes, remove and allow to cool. If you have 2 baking sheets, you can do them both at the same time, just take the pecans out before the almonds.
