Since bottled pear juice is available year-round, it’s perfect for baby showers, weddings, bridal showers, a brunch summer cocktail or easy entertaining anytime.

Champagne alternatives
I prefer a good Champagne, but if you’re on a budget, sparkling wine or Prosecco works just as well. For the whole family or non-drinkers, swap in sparkling apple cider. Serve in coupe glasses or Champagne flutes to make it extra special.
Easy pear garnish
A thinly sliced pears threaded onto cocktail sticks are a simple, elegant garnish.

Serving suggestion
Pair this cocktail with easy Cheese, Chive, and Rosemary Puffs – made crazy easy thanks to store -bought puff pastry. Add Mini Roast Beef Yorkshire Pudding Bites, basically a classic British Sunday roast turned into perfect party food. Round things out with elegant nibbles like smoked salmon crostini or blinis, Mushroom Pâté with toasted baguette, soft cheeses such as brie, camembert, or triple-cream, and prosciutto-wrapped pears or melon for a sweet-savory finish. This recipe yields 2 drinks.
