St Patrick’s Day Green Dublin Cocktail
This St Patrick’s Day Green Dublin Cocktail is festive, fun and green (of course!). Made with Irish whiskey, cranberry juice and green apple schnapps, this is the only cocktail you need for your St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

St Patrick’s Day is a day all around the world people are eating green food, drinking green beer and even the Chicago river is dyed a pretty shade of clover green. All for the fun Irish holiday.

It is a huge holiday in the U.S., celebrated with green food, green drinks and even green rivers. Being born and raised in England, I never really noticed any big celebrations until I moved to America.
I admit, I have never been to Ireland. But I am British and I lived most of my life just 200 miles away, but I never saw the beautiful Irish countryside. I do go back to England regularly so I have many chances to rectify this and one day I will.

One really doesn’t have to be in Ireland to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. I was surprised how popular this holiday is when I moved the the U.S. People really do go all out! This is my green contribution to this fine Irish holiday.
This green Dublin cocktail is about as Irish as it gets and you can’t help but notice how green it is from the sour apple schnapps. It’s sour, it’s sweet and it packs a good ‘ole Irish kick from the Jameson Irish Whiskey. So to my fellow countrymen… Happy St Patrick’s Day!

I agree that it feels good to enjoy St. Patrick’s Day even though you are not Irish. I have heard that Ireland is so beautiful. I hope you get to go there one day and blog all about it. I would love to hear everything about it. It is so funny that we never visit places that are right next to you. You always think that it is right there and you can visit it anytime you want. Then, when you are away, you realize that you should have gone a long time ago. Happens to me all the time. I have lived in many places, yet, always take the town’s landmarks for-granted. Your recipe looks so good and I must try it now. You can never go wrong with Jameson Irish Whiskey.
Cheers to St. Patrick’s Day and to your cocktail!
You got it! gorgeous and superb ingredients! LOVE!

What a festive cocktail for St. Patrick’s Day!
Janette, this cocktail is so wonderfully festive! Love that intense green! And so smart to add white cranberry juice to balance out some of the sweet flavors.
I hope you get a chance to visit Ireland on one of your visits back to England – my hubby and I had such a fabulous time ๐
Yes, please! And, we are having people over tonight; this would be fun to serve to them! Thanks for the recipe!
How fun. Great idea.
Happy Friday Janette! This cocktail looks so fresh! Need to try it for St. Patrick’s Day ๐
Thank you so much Mira
I would never guess there is cranberry juice in this!
Sounds gorgeous, though!
Funny that St. P’s day is so popular in the US, isn’t it? I’m not sure I’d even know it was coming up if I wasn’t reading all these blogs! lol!
Thank you Helen. They key is to use white cranberry juice. I didn’t even notice St Patricks Day when I lived in England but it’s everywhere here. Have a great weekend.
