Being British goes hand-in-hand with my love of tea. It’s ingrained in us from an early age. Now that I live in a hot climate, where the temperatures are in triple digits most of the summer, the cool weather of fall is a welcome sight. Not only for the relief of the heat, but I finally get to enjoy a nice hot cup of tea. Sometimes, I feel like a fancy cup of tea and that is where this Earl Grey orange vanilla latte’ fits perfectly. Now that I’ve discovered this amazing drink, I’ll also be serving this to family and friends when they come to visit around the holidays.
International Delight® One Touch Latte’™ make it really easy to enjoy a tea and coffee latte’ at home. Just point and press to transform your home-brewed coffee and tea into a coffeehouse-style latte’ in seconds. With tea lattes becoming increasing popular, like chai latte’, matcha latte’ and now, Early Grey latte’, I’m happy I get to make my own at home. I chose Earl Grey for my tea, as this is my favorite and to make it extra special and to highlight the orange bergamot flavor of Earl Grey tea, I infused the tea with fresh orange then topped with vanilla flavored, foam perfection.
You will get about 7 uses per can and really could not be easier. See the foam in action right here in the video below for the perfect latte’ in just 3 easy steps. “Press it, press it real good!”
If you’ve never tried infusing tea with fruit, you should try it, citrus works best. It is easy to do and can add amazing flavor to any tea, just let the fruit soak in boiling water along with the tea bags for a few minutes. Fill your cup 2/3 with the tea and top with the foamy latte’.
What goes better with a hot, creamy latte’ than a crispy biscotti just made for dunking into this comforting drink on a cold and crisp fall day. So good!
Are you a latte’ drinker? What type do you prefer? Tea, coffee, both? What are you wating for? Make your own latte’ at home, I actually had way to much fun using my One Touch Latte’™.
