More than 60 billion (that’s billion with a ‘b’) cups of tea are consumed in Britain every year, wow. Earl Grey is one of the most popular teas to drink and is not just used to drink hot out of tea cups anymore, or chilled over ice. I’m seeing tea being added more recently in alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, just like this Earl Grey ginger spritzer.

Not all spritzers have alcohol, you mostly see them with sparkling wine or Champagne. I created this easy drink to enjoy while I’m sitting outside enjoying the warm weather because there’s only so much regular iced tea you can drink, right? Also, I love a bubbly drink because it quenches my thirst better.

The floral flavors of the Earl Grey are paired perfectly with the slightly sweet ginger beer. Garnished with a sprig of fresh mint, it doesn’t get anymore Summery than this.
