Trio of Asian Dipping Sauces are sweet, spicy and savory. 3 classic flavors come together that showcase authentic Asian flavors for spring and egg rolls. Make them ahead and bring to room temperature when you need them. So versatile, these sauces pair well with dumplings, potstickers and Japanese gyoza.

I would say that spring/egg rolls are the most popular Asian appetizer choice. The sauces that you serve with them are just as important as the rolls themselves and why should be only be limited to only one sauce? Have 3!

Trio of Asian Dipping Sauces for Entertaining

Perfect for entertaining and small gatherings, these sauces will dress up any dishes. Entertaining for a crowd or even a small get together shouldn’t have you stressed or a slave to the kitchen.

A way that I like to cut corners is taking something already made and adding a simple homemade element to the dish. This quick appetizer is perfect if you have surprise guests coming over and can be ready in under 30 minutes, including the homemade sauces. All you need is your favorite spring rolls.

3 bowls of sauces, honey sesame, spicy soy and savory peanut sauce

Trio of Asian Dipping Sauces serving suggestion

I recently made Vietnamese Summer Shrimp Vegetable Rolls (< click text for recipe) that pair well with all of these sauces. These rolls are an easy, no-cook option that I love to make in the warmer weather.

The trio of sauces are, honey sesame, spicy soy and savory peanut. All very different and all hitting different parts of your tongue packed with  Umami (pleasant taste). I cut the rolls into ‘sushi-like’ pieces so guests can taste the sauces in 1 or 2 bites.

Trio of Asian Dipping Sauces Preparation tip

What I like about the sauces is they can be adapted to taste. If you find that any of the recipes don’t work for your palette, you can adjust the amount of soy for the salt levels, adjust the amount of honey for sweetness and add more chili sauce for spiciness.
