There’s nothing better on a hot summer day than refreshing frozen sweet treats to cool you down, and making your own popsicles is not only easy but also fun. The mix for these sugar-free popsicles is as simple as adding the three ingredients to a blender (or food processor) and blending into a smooth strawberry puree.

Depending on where you are in the world, this perfect summer treat can be known as ice lollies, ice pops, or ice bars in other parts of the world, and in the U.S., they go by their brand name, Popsicle.

Healthy popsicles

To avoid getting bored with the same flavor, try some of my other popsicle recipes. My Blueberry Coconut Creamy Popsicles are made with just 2 ingredients: Greek yogurt and fresh blueberries. Like a healthy ice cream bar. My Peach Frozen Yogurt Popsicles are also made with Greek yogurt and fresh peaches.

Frozen fruit

All of these recipes can be made with frozen fruit, offering the flexibility to enjoy these refreshing treats any time of the year. Whether it’s the peak of summer or the middle of winter, the delightful taste of these popsicles is just a blend away.

Serving of fresh fruit

Why eat store-bought frozen popsicles when you can enjoy simple homemade popsicles? Free of corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, artificial colors, and ingredients you can’t pronounce. As an added bonus, you can incorporate a serving of fresh fruit into your kids’ diets, providing them with vitamin C. Think about the health benefits.

Keto Popsicle Recipes

Perfect for a keto diet, reduce the net carbs by using whatever low-carb sweetener you prefer, such as monk fruit, instead of honey—or just leave it out completely, as there is natural sweetness from the pineapple juice.

Popsicle/Ice Lolly Mold

There of 2 types, hard plastic and silicone molds. The kind of popsicle mold I prefer is the silicone mold as they are easier to remove.

This recipes makes 10 popsicles/ice lollies.
