We’re taking you around the world with sports and dips.
In our house there’s a wide range of sports happening every weekend. My husband is American so there’s basketball and football. I’m British and I’m following my home city soccer team and we both like European motor racing so our weekends are pretty busy during the various seasons.
Now, you do have to leave the house at some point and go shopping for all this food and drink. The good news is it can all be found in 1 store, Walmart. Don’t forget to head over to the frozen food section for those delicious Alexia frozen fries and onion rings.
So with all the ‘around the world’ sports going on that we like to watch, I thought why not go ‘around the world’ with the dips for the Alexia fries and onion rings.
French truffle aioli dip: A mayonnaise based dip with a touch of white truffle oil for that French flair.
German cheese dip: A white sauce with German beer and lots of melted cheddar and gruyere cheese.
British curry ketchup: Ketchup with mild curry powder and agave or honey for sweetness.
Not only do these dips taste great with the fries and onion rings, they are also delicious condiments for the red pepper burgers (recipe coming soon).
